So, I really enjoyed my first craft fair...! I did lots of preparation and everything ran very smoothly - thanks to lots of really useful advice from my friends at Crafteroo. Unfortunately it was an incredibly cold and rainy day and so customers were very thin on the ground - I would estimate that only about 30 or 40 people came through the doors, but in spite of that I made 5 sales - which is about 4 more than most... It was also really useful to chat with other sellers, do some networking and get some recommendations for good events to go to. Here's some photos of my packed up goodies: One of the best things about the day is the lovely feedback I got from some of the buyers and other sellers. It was such a boost, and their kindness really helped me to ignore the buyers who clearly didn't share my taste... Can't wait to do my next fair now! |

Well done Ali, your stuff looks amazing, especially all those needlecases all lined up - beautiful! Love your new banner by the way x
yay! well done :o)
Well done.
Your stall looks colourful and inviting and if I were there I would have parted with lots of money.
I am glad that you enjoyed it.
Thats great - other crafters are really a good bunch aren't they!
Thanks everyone - it was such a good experience. Am now slogging away getting all the new stock on Etsy - yawn.... I just wish it would stop raining so I could take some decent pics!
I was a fellow stallholder at this craft fair (blonde girl doing book stall) and am so glad I found your blog. I could have easily purchased everything on your stall, (the fact that I also know where your online shops are now is dangerous)!
The baby sun hat has pride of place waiting for baby to arrive later this year and I wear my crochet flower with just about every outfit...love it, love it love it!
I still regret not purchasing an owl!!
Many thanks,
Kerry x
It's lovely to see you Kerry - I am so glad you are enjoying your purchases. All the very best with the rest of your pregnancy. :)
