![]() These coasters were huge fun to make, so much so that I'm just completing some more using Amy Butler fabrics. What worries me about them is whether people buy coasters any more, and what on earth to charge for them! They take a fair bit of time to make, and I have a feeling that if I charge a realistic price for them no one will be interested. But that's so often the trouble with handmade. Ho hum - I guess all I can do is give it a go. |

they are really lovely. I get what you mean about what to realistically charge for things, it is difficult, go with your gut feeling! good luck with the craft fair!
Lisa is right, they are lovely, The colors are GREAT!
The colours are great and I do think people still use coasters. As for the price, perhaps a discount for the more you buy!
I manage to sell my expensive coasters so people do still buy them :)
Thanks everyone. Pennydog that's so encouraging...
wow these r vy lovely! i think this pattern actually would look good not just on coasters, but also as tissue packs or small coin purse :)
They are gorgeous, as always, love your fabrics and how you put them together and yes, people do still use coasters!
I have found that price makes little difference - if people want them they will pay so charge what you feel is the reward you desire - if it's a slow day you can't give things away!! The main thing is to plough on and not be discouraged!!
What superb coasters, just love the colours and designs of the fabric.
Good luck for the future.
Sandie at Rag Rescue
Thank you Sandie - in the end I kept them because I couldn't bear to part with them...
I am a huge fan of Rag Rescue so I'm delighted you popped round. :)
